1445AH EID ADHA MESSAGE FROM ANSAR- UD-DEEN SOCIETY OF NIGERIA 🎊 The Scoper Media

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

On this auspicious occasion of Eid al-Adha, the Ansar Ud Deen Society of Nigeria extends warm greetings to all Muslims across Nigeria and around the world.

As we celebrate this blessed festival, let us reflect on the spirit of sacrifice and the teachings of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), who demonstrated unwavering faith and obedience to Allah (SWT).

Reflecting on Nigeria’s Economic Situation
As we gather with family and friends to mark this holy day, it is important to acknowledge the economic challenges facing our beloved nation. The economic situation in Nigeria has placed significant strain on the livelihoods of many Nigerians. Inflation, unemployment, and a high cost of living are realities that cannot be ignored.

It is a time for us to unite in seeking solutions and supporting one another. We urge the Federal Government to take the bull by the horn by intensified in the provision of mechanized farming across the geo-political zone of the country in order to have abundance of food sufficiency and thereby conquer food insecurity.

The Need for Living Wages for Workers
A key aspect of improving our economic situation lies in ensuring fair wages for workers. The principle of a living wage is deeply rooted in Islamic teachings, emphasizing the need for justice and fairness. We call upon our leaders, policymakers, and business owners to take decisive steps in implementing living wages that can provide dignity and security for all workers.

Let us remember the words of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW): “Give the worker his wages before his sweat dries.”
Provision of Infrastructure for Nigerians
Infrastructure development is vital for the progress of any nation.

In Nigeria, the need for robust infrastructure—ranging from roads and transportation to healthcare and education—cannot be overemphasized. We urge the government and private sector to prioritize infrastructure projects that will benefit all Nigerians, enhancing connectivity, improving access to essential services, and fostering economic growth.

As Muslims, let us also contribute to community development projects and support initiatives that aim to build a stronger, more resilient Nigeria.
On the other hand, we congratulate the Federal Government for the foresight of embarking on the coastal and if fully and timely implemented, it would contribute significantly to the quick recovery of our economy.

Food Sufficiency for All
Food security is another pressing issue that affects millions of Nigerians. In the spirit of Eid al-Adha, which involves the act of Qurbani (sacrifice), we must remember those who are less fortunate and struggling with hunger. It is our collective responsibility to work towards food sufficiency for all.

We encourage the government to implement policies that support agriculture, provide incentives for farmers, and ensure that food distribution systems are efficient and equitable. As individuals, let us share our blessings with those in need and work towards creating a society where no one goes hungry.
Conclusion

On this Eid al-Adha, let us renew our commitment to the principles of compassion, justice, and solidarity. May Allah (SWT) bless our efforts to improve the lives of all Nigerians and guide us in addressing the economic challenges we face. Let us pray for peace, prosperity, and unity in our nation.
We wish you all a joyous and blessed Eid al-Adha.

Eid Mubarak.
