To revamp education policies and programmes to meet global standards its National conference, ACEP joins educational stakeholders at the 3 day event with a theme Transforming Education For A Better Future ” of National conference, 20years anniversary and Book Launch held at University of Lagos Faculty of Education auditorium Akoka Lagos.


Speaking Hajia Islamiyat Olaitan Oshodi, National President ACEP said It is a transformation process that goes beyond beyond schooling and aspects of society’s survival and sustainable development.
Oshodi also education consultant for 35 years related the activities of the foundation over 2 decades.


Among them were Global hands washing,free eye and dental screening and treatment, donations of books learning tools to students and school libraries catering for street and out of school children, giving them education.


The foundation has empowered pupils, students, teachers, parents and provides educational infrastructures for schools over the years.


ACEP has partnered and collaborated and other NGOs Learn, Speaking Fingers Network for lnclusiveness, National agencies and United Nations agencies UNIC and UNESCO to empower the Nigerian children in Educational skills and journey.
The Vice Chancellor Emmanuel Alayande University, Prof Olanrewaju Olaniyan’s presentation on partnering with Community and educators is a must read article and he took participants the relationship and communities, educators. and government inputs


He maintained that Nigerian Universities standards and graduates are best rated all world because of our creativity Resilience, educational curriculum and exposure.
He added no organisation or school can employ you without you going through the blue prints or in house training


Earlier, his goodwill message Chairman Emeritus Prof Pai Obanya maintained that promoting this foundation requires strong inter – agency collaboration.


Early Child Education is an area that should begin from home with adequate care for, and concern of families and communities.
He acknowledged that Association Childhood Education Practitioners is committed in leadership, endured, survived and expanded the scope of its activities in the country under harsh conditions.


Earlier Vice Chancellor UNILAG Professor Folashade Ogunsola represented by Prof Risikat Dawodu of Distance Learning Institute Unilag said the University is ready to champion education and ACEP projects
Chief Mrs Yemisi Ransome Kuti advised the Youths on the various forms of indecency action in our society, Hon. Emmanuel Oyeleke urged the Government on the School feeding programme.


During the book Launch “Promoting Child Development and Enforcing Child Rights in Nigeria” Edited by Prof Pai Obanya and Reviewed by Professor Mopelola Omoegun at the Conference. It is the publication 2nd Edition of ACEP Professional Journal and the Summary of her book


Speaking to Dr Oyedeji Toyin, Associate Professor, Leads City University lbadan, Oyo State said the ACEP event said Teachers Registration of Nigeria is very important and equipped teachers with different degrees and educational background to fit in systems through Training, teaching practice and seminars and workshops.


She added that Leads City University also has entrepreneurship department to help students who are inclined to vocational and business skills..
