In the autumn of 1995, under the golden hues of October, Aderonke Emmanuelking made a sacred vow to Jesus Christ, surrendering her life to his divine guidance. With unwavering faith, she stepped into the hallowed halls of the Eagle’s Trainers Church, also known as Heritage Assembly. Within its sacred walls, she found purpose and belonging, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to serving the congregation.
As a beacon of hospitality, Aderonke took her place among the ushers, a silent guardian guiding worshipers to their seats with grace and warmth. Her devotion knew no bounds, and her presence radiated a sense of peace and reverence throughout the sanctuary.
However, in the turning of the years, the call of academia beckoned her away from her cherished duties. With a heavy heart but a steadfast resolve, Aderonke bid farewell to her beloved church family in 1998, embarking on a journey of knowledge and enlightenment.
Though her physical presence may have departed from the pews of Heritage Assembly, her spirit remained intertwined with the fabric of the church, a testament to her enduring faith and commitment to the divine. And as she ventured forth into the realm of academia, she carried with her the lessons learned and the blessings bestowed within the sacred walls of her beloved church.
As a young lady navigating the bustling corridors of Lagos State University, she found solace and purpose within the embrace of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. It was there that her spirit flourished, and her faith deepened, shaping her into a beacon of light for those around her.
Upon exchanging vows with Aare Adetola Emmanuelking in a heartfelt ceremony in April 2007, she embarked on a new chapter of her life, seamlessly integrating into the vibrant community of the Living Faith Church. Her journey was not solitary; it was one of companionship and mentorship, as she took under her wing countless young souls eager to walk the path of spiritual enlightenment. Through her gentle guidance and nurturing spirit, she cultivated a garden of spiritual growth, where seeds of faith blossomed into radiant blooms of conviction and purpose.
In a heartfelt speech, she revealed her unwavering commitment to stand by her husband’s side, offering steadfast support to his spiritual journey. With determination in her voice, she pledged to inspire him to prioritize his dedication to the divine, promising to encourage him to invest his time and resources wholeheartedly in the service of Christ
‘As a pillar of support, I will always be by his side and also motivate him to contribute his quota to the development of God’s work.” She concluded.
Similarly, in the glow of twinkling lights and the fragrance of fresh flowers, Aare Adetola unveiled his plans with an air of anticipation. He revealed that beyond the solemnity of his induction lay a grand tapestry of celebration, a symphony of gratitude awaiting its crescendo. “The induction merely serves as a threshold, a portal to usher in the blessings and rites that accompany my ascent. But the true spectacle awaits,” he declared with a twinkle in his eye. “For soon, amidst laughter and joy, I shall gather my beloved friends and family for a soirée of thanksgiving unparalleled in splendor.” And so, amidst whispers of anticipation, the stage was set for a grand fête, where gratitude would dance in every corner and blessings would overflow like a river in full bloom.
Amidst a somber atmosphere enveloping the nation, the prospect of a grand Soiree feels out of sync with the prevailing mood. However, as optimism gradually resurfaces and the country begins to thrive once more, the time will come to unleash invitations far and wide for an extravagant Thanksgiving extravaganza.
To cap it all, he said: ” I want to thank CAN for finding me worthy of this honour. “I want to thank the Executive Governor of Ogun State; Prince Dapo Abiodun for his support, also the Asiwaju Onigbagbo of Remo Land; Former Governor of Ogun State Senator Gbenga Daniel and The Asiwaju Onigbagbo of Ogun State; Former President Olusegun Obasanjo for their commitment to God work.
