The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC) Anambra State has stated its readiness to equip private security Practitioners with requisite training skills in ensuring the safety of life and properties across the State.
Commandant Isidore Chikere the State Commandant of the Corps dropped the hint at the stakeholders forum organized by the command to promote the activities of private guard companies in the state.
Mr. Chikere tasked the participants to be dedicated to providing security, safety and consistent delivery of high quality services to the populace. He condemned the influx of quacks in the industry and promised to sustain the clamp down of unregistered security outfits in the state, noting that they constitute security threat to citizens.
He however cautioned members of the public and corporate bodies to seek clarification when in doubt from NSCDC before engaging any private security outfit as a proactive measure aimed at preventing infiltration of the industry, crime control, and restoring professionalism.
