Former Akwa Ibom State governor, Goodswill Akpabio was the first to step down for Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu. Also, former Ogun State governor, Ibikunle Amosun also stepped down for the former governor.
Addressing delegates at the ongoing convention in Abuja, Akpabio and Amosun said they doffed their cap for the former Lagos State governor. So far, the two are the first aspirants to step down.
Four others have followed suite, Dr Kayode Fayemi, Hon. Dimeji Bankole, Jigawa governor, Badaru and Senator Borofice.
