How I Was Stripped, Robbed – Cleric Shares Ordeal ✓ The Scoper Media

     According to the Punch,one Paul Hanson, the Pentecostal Archbishop and Presiding Officer of the Unifaith Living Church Incorporated, reportedly gave a detailed narration about his unpleasant experience with armed robbers who dispossessed him of his valuables and clothes while traveling to Anambra state to dedicate a Bishop-to-be simply identified as Norman Okeorimili.

     Following the information acquired by local journalists,the victim,Hanson noted that, the incident took place on Sunday,11th December 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Akata Market Square in Orlu, which is located in Imo state.

During a brief interview with news reporters,he explained further saying that, the dedication ceremony of the Bishop-to-be that took place on Sunday in Ogidi, which is located in the Idemili North Local Government Area LGA of Anambra state, adding that the above-mentioned assailants ambushed him on his way to the event and took almost everything he had on him.

The victim, who was traveling all the way from Akwa Ibom state, lamented that the suspected armed robbers Invade dispossessed him of his car, regalia, rank badge, money, six phones, and other prized items.

 

While he was recounting his unpleasant experience, he voiced out his grave concern about the rate of insecurity in the country, saying nobody is safe,if a man of God can be robbed and stripped naked,we all need to be prayerful.

  • He affirmed ,“this incident happened at Akata, Orlu market square, in Imo State, while I was coming from Akwa Ibom State, to consecrate the Bishop-elect of our church, Norman Okeorimili, in Ogidi.I was stripped; they left me with a pant, my car and all in it removed. They included six phones that included those of my driver, money, regalia, badge rank, among others“.

“It was somebody I don’t know that brought his car to help me. He helped me to the Police Area Commander and from there I called my Divisional Police Officer in Akwa Ibom and told him what happened. The attack on me didn’t stop me from consecrating Norman Okeorimili”,he disclosed.

In the meantime,while reacting to the occurence,the recently ordained bishop responded stating that, regardless of the ugly incident,God has predestined that the dedication must be completed, pointing out that no matter what the devil may plot against the children of the Most High,his mission must be completed.

“That is why what God said would happen nobody would stop Him. They couldn’t stop the consecration as it was the will of God that today, Sunday, it would come to pass,” Okeorimili concluded.
