According to a report gotten from Daily Post, 50 people in Kuchi, Munya Local Government Area Of Niger State were reportedly abducted by armed bandits around 2am today, Friday July 22, 2022. Reports have it that these terrorists invaded the town and carried out a House-to-House raid, abducting over 50 people in the process.
The Co-Convener of Concerned Shiroro Youths of Niger State, Sani Abubakar Yusuf Kokki said that the terrorists, alongside their captives are reportedly trapped on their journey at a nearby Dangunu River as they are unable to cross to the other side because the river has overflown its banks due to heavy downpour.
He called on security operatives to swing into action and engage the bandits at their exit route where they are currently stranded, and that vigilantes should also be mobilized to the scene for a gunfire encounter with the bandits in a bid to rescue the captives.
We pray and hope that these people will be rescued unhurt.
