    Bethel Ministries organises a 3 day free Medical outreach ,concerned about people’s health, wellness and to promote happiness and longevity. The event attracted mammoth crowd from far and wide to Bethel Church ilaje Ajah Lekki Lagos. Starting from 9am daily with a thanksgiving service .

The Church organises a free Medical in partnership with Chosen champions lnternational Conference CCIC 2022 with Global Vision support lnternational foundation . The event brings healthcare services closer to the community at no cost because access to medical care is a big challenge in Nigeria. A lot of people with one underlying ailment or the other are dying in silence because they can’t afford the exorbitant hospital bills.

The participants also benefitted from free consultations, medical registration, blood pressure check, blood sugar screening . Others session including screening,. Eye.cliniic and Eye test, eyeglasses section, Drugs and tablets , consultation centre surgery centre for fibroid, hyenia , cataract among others

 

Speaking to .Rev. Roselyn Oduyemi General Overseer Bethel Ministries said to God be the Glory for the event. Responding to the next annual Health outreach ,she said God Almighty will make provision for that.project.

Bethel Ministries aims to raise chosen champions who will disciple nations all over the world by reconciling people to God through Christ, developing them to Spiritual Maturity, Equipping them for kingdom assignment and Empowering them to influence the world for God as Christ Ambassadors..

 

In the pursuit of the this purpose, the Church shall be irrevocably committed to, and be guided, by the purposes of the church as expressed by Jesus Christ Himself in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and the Great Commandment.(Matthew 22:37-40).

All activities and programs of the church shall also be filtered through the purposes of the church as expressed in the Great Commandment and Great Commission.
Pastor Patrick Atake and Head of Event /Security protocol, said *we ensure that the people and congregation are well organised and taken care of during the 3day event.”Our officials, including the Police are all here working together to manage the crowd control and ensure they go home happy better and healthier after the event.

The crowd includes families,adults and children special persons from Lagos and environs were divided different sections for easy and orderly flow.

A medical practitioner who pleaded anomnity identified ignorance as the major contributing factor to health conditions as many people with high blood pressure were not even aware that they have the condition.

“Almost 90 per cent of the patients consulted here today are hypertensive, which a majority of them are not even aware that they have the condition because they don’t check.”

She identified stress as a major factor causing the cardiovascular/heart conditions of most Nigerians.
Mr Linus Bassy, a 70 years man and beneficiary expressed gratitude to the groups and church the commitment of to ensure that public and members of the church and residents of the area have access to healthcare services at no cost.
An official member of the church, called Happiness lauded the church for the outreach, saying it was one of the numerous humanitarian gestures of the church to the community.She disclosed that . Ministers leadership conference was cancelled this year to accommodate free community health for people.

She said that the church had organised a series of empowerment programmmes and seminars for the youths of the community and members of the church. Mrs Rita Jacobs who came with her 3children said “my family and l have benefitted medical outreach over years we are enjoying some of the service today”.
