The Ekiti State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Paul Omotoso, who was kidnapped over the weekend has regained his freedom.
A statement by the Ekiti State Police Command said that Omotoso alongside two others that were recently abducted by unknown hoodlums had regained their freedom and had been reunited with their families.
The Command’s Spokesperson, DSP Sunday Abutu said their rescue was made possible “through the combined efforts of the Police, other sisters agencies, the local security outfits and the family members as well as the Ekiti State government.”
Abutu added that “three suspects have been arrested in connection with the kidnapping and are supplying useful information that could lead to the arrest of the prime suspects who are currently at large.”
