Unknown gunmen have invaded the residence of Senator Patrick Ndubueze with the mission to abduct him .

However Ndubueze Senator representing Imo North Senatorial District. in Umualuomke okigwe was not at home when the hoodlums struck.
in the early hours of 12th February 2024, but killed the police officer in charge of the compound,

The gunmen were said to have entered the compound under the pretence of watching, African Cup of Nation between Nigeria and Ivory Coast, waited till the early morning to strike shooting sporadically to stare residents of umualumoke who took to the bushes for safety.
