BREAKING ! OLUBADAN OF IBADAN, OBA SALIU ADETUNJI JOINS HIS ANCESTORS ~ The Scoper Media

  The Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Adetunji, has joined his ancestors.

  The monarch who was 93-years-old, passed away today, 2 January at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan, Oyo state.

   His death was confirmed by palace sources who pleaded anonymity.

   However, when contacted, the monarch’s aides neither confirmed his death nor denied it.

  “Even if he is dead, it is the governor that will announce it,” one of his media aides said when contacted on the telephone.

  Another aide said in Yoruba, “You don’t hear bad news from a priest,” and cut the phone.

  He was crowned the 41st Olubadan of Ibadan following his coronation on March 4, 2016.

  Prior to his coronation as the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji was the Balogun of Ibadan land.

  Oba Adetunji was a successful businessman and Ibadan was peaceful during his reign.
