Amina Ali, one of the abducted Chibok schoolgirls shared her ordeal after escaping from Boko Haram Captivity
In a video recently shared on YouTube by Channels TV, Amina revealed that she was the first to escape, along with her baby daughter, after spending over two years in captivity. Recalling the events of 2014, Amina described how she and her classmates were writing their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) when Boko Haram stormed their school and abducted them. She said they were taken to the notorious Sambisa forest where they were held captive.
In Amina’s words: “I am the first girl who escaped from captivity with a baby girl, so I escaped in the year 2016 so I did 2 years and some months in captivity. The only thing I can remember in 2014 is that we were all in school writing our SSCE exams before Boko Haram came abducted us and moved to Sambisa forest where they kept us”.
