The 19-year-old student of Anglican Girls’ Secondary School, Uruagu Nnewi, Anambra State, Ejikeme Mmesoma, has narrated how she manipulated her result. It can be recalled that Messoma has been in the news since Jamb denied her claims of being the highest scorer in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Mmesoma claimed she scored 362 in jamb, as against 249 she scored. Subsequently, Mmesoma in a live Tv session backed down on her claim of scoring 362. In a panel set by the Gov of Anambra State, the panel revealed that Mmesoma manipulated her fake results using her android phone. She confessed to this before her principal and the Education secretary, as she noted that the narration by jamb is true and the correct description of what transpired. She also admitted to given a manipulated result by herself unaided, using the same android phone and her airtel number.
