Creative Director Wodibenuah Empowers Entrepreneurs, Vendors At Fair √√ The Scoper Media

   Concerned about equipping entrepreneurs, and businesses to remain afloat and thrive in a poor economy.Wodibenuah fair organised its 12th edition which attracted national exhibitors to the Five Palm event center Oniru Victoria lsland Lagos.
Speaking to Winifred Ada Wodibenuah convener and creative director
said The fair brings all entrepreneurs, vendors and buyers together to make more money, sales, interact and network together.
The 12th edition of Wodibenuah fair is very unique and mind-blowing, there were various businesses ranging from hospitality Beauty business, jewellery business, Fashion shops, eateries, cosmetics shops, pizza, ice -cream business, cocktail among others- she added.

Wodibenuah fair helps the vendors to sell more and faster under this platform.We have done several exhibitions in the last 5 years to keep businesses afloat and relevant.For vendors who have constantly reported having a rough time selling to their customers in other exhibitions, we assist them make good sales, new customers and network.”Music, dance and after party were side attractions.

Among the business stands present were Hour Glam, Potables, Taste Bud, Phunkifyd lnteriors, Mena _stylez, Pizza wheels and Leo Tabitha store.
Wodibenuah disclosed that”There are numerous challenges managing and organizing big fairs,” such as high exchange rate, removal of fuel subsidy, harsh business environment,inflation,
Others are huge funds to rent events centres, lack of electricity, lack of trust and uncertain of business sales by exhibitors among others.
Recounting l started my female fashion boutique 8 years ago at Lekki phase 1. “Where l always organized sales party and give out freebies, give aways to clients during my fashion events and made good sales. This gave birth to Wodibenuah exhibitions, l also appreciate all the business owners who have patronized us over the years, because they have faith in my brand and made huge profits from these fairs.”

She recalled how she started from a sales girl job in mobile phone and recharge cards outfit, before working in a boutique, l love fashion business. Born and raised in Lagos, l love traveling but l cherish all the wonderful memories from Lagos, even when l travelled abroad l quickly come home to Nigeria.

The University of Abuja Chemistry graduate revealed that she love business and was selling while in school that made her popular in Abuja FCT.
She urged business owners and brands to use social media to push their services and businesses continuously. As a social media influencer, l promote and showcase other people’s businesses and my brands for total growth and profits. She hopes to reciprocate the Wodibenuah fair in Abuja by October. She advised Entrepreneurs to guide their mental health as most persons are faced with panic thought, anxiety, sadness, suicide thought, depression but they should ask for God’s protection, engage in chores that make them happy, rest well, regularly see professional mental therapists.
Conclusively,” I worked hard by pushing my brand and other brands from Monday to Saturday, l relax and spend time with my family on Sunday, I love cooking, watching movies, travelling and dancing.”

Speaking to Chief Executive Officer Phunkifyd lnteriors, Adefunke Olude said she deals with classy timeless luxury interior goods. We have durable decors, design different homes with decor styling services, we use luxe decor accessories in spaces, businesses and organisations, we find art in the tinniest bit of things and transform them to functional aesthetics.

At the fair, we converted our fair stand to a mini showroom that displays items and details furniture Clients patronize our beautiful state of the arts works .We help our clients to minimize spaces and transformation of their environment with master piece.

ability to design even the most tiniest spaces.

She added that we have our unique durable furniture, kitchen cabinets, home decorations, artificial flowers, flower vases, mugs, diffusers, bathroom accessories items among others.

She appealed to Government to support creatives, we are all good in our crafts , talents in all the sectors from carpentry, music, sports catering, fashion, woodwork, vocational skills.

There are no enabling environment hence young people are leaving the country to develop foreign land. “It is brain drain if our economy does not improved l might consider relocating abroad with my businesses-she said.

Another Exhibitor Aina Fadeke Olude Chief Executive Officer, Mena Style fashion enterpreneur and social lnfluencer said that as a first time exhibitor at the Wodibenuah fair, we are a quality Brand with new ready to wear , thrift wears, causal wears, designer wears and customised wears among others.

She disclosed that the business is reasonable and fair, “l was able to sell more for new customers, Network and meet new people, besides the regular and social media sales”.

Mena style had the opportunity to discuss with some of my customers about their different fashion styles, favorite colours, fabrics, how to combine fashion accessories items and latest fashions code among others.
