       The Synagogue Church of All Nation (SCOAN) on Sunday, June 12, 2023 celebrated the 60th Posthumous Birthday of its late founder Prophet T.B Joshua amidst fun-fare.

Prophet T.B. Joshua who died peacefully on June 5, 2021 few years to his sixths birthday.

While speaking on the legacy of the late man of God at the occasion, Founder and Senior Pastor of the Champions Royal Assembly (CRA), Prophet Joshua Iginla, on Monday, declared that the late Founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, is a gift to humanity.

The cleric also revealed that the late SCOAN helmsman impacted his generation.

Speaking further at the posthumous 60th birthday held in honour of the late clergyman at the church’s main auditorium in the Ikotun-Egbe area of Lagos State, Prophet Iginla, who is a televangelist, and prosperity gospel preacher, insisted that the lifestyle exhibited by the late Prophet T. B Joshua is worth emulating.

According to him, “He (Prophet T. B Joshua) was hated but gave to people, persecuted by many, but remains patient.

“If you are carnally minded, you cannot understand those in the prophetic world. Prophets are a gift from heaven”.

 

It would be recalled that the late Prophet T. B Joshua was born on June 12, 1963, in a village in Arigidi-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria, to the family of Pa Kolawole Balogun and Madam Folarin Aisha Adesiji Balogun.

Moreso, Founder of Temple of Light and Miracles Ministries, Pastor Isaiah Ogedegbe, eulogised the life of TB Joshua, saying ‘in charity, he had no classmate and I believe in the grace of God upon his life’.

He was a mentor to nations, bishops and pastors and, in his humility, he affected the world. He was a man of prayer like David,” Ogedegbe said.

On his part, Tee Mac Omatshola Iseli, a flutist, said TB Joshua ‘taught me to stay humble, give and believe in God and in the Lord Jesus. He was a wonder to many. TB Joshua still blesses us from heaven. He is part of our lives and we all miss him everyday “

Also commenting, Apostle Peace Ihabore said that the late T.B Joshua was a man of love, peace and patience, adding that they all looked up to him in his days.

Ihabore stated that they saw the way the late T.B Joshua demonstrated love, revealing that he came across the late preacher in 2007.

“He developed me spiritually through Emmanuel Television. He gave to the less-privileged, he was a man of focus, his focus was not broken and he lived what he preached,” he said.

To Bishop Stephen Ogedengbe, who also spoke at the event, said that the controversy against the late T.B Joshua that he did not have a spiritual godfather as mentor, has been put to rest in the book of Jeremiah Chapter 1 that said that prophets are anointed by God.

 

Ogedengbe thanked those who he said hated Prophet T.B Joshua so much, but noted that they are not comparable to those, who love him so much.

“Those who love him so much do so passionately, they can die for the cause. He had no classmate in charity.

“We believe that he is now standing as an angel of God. Miracles have been happening in the church through Prophet Evelyn T.B Joshua since the death of Prophet T.B Joshua,” he said.

Another speaker at the event, Prophet I.O Samuel said that Prophet T.B Joshua is a man they could not stop talking about.

Prophet Samuel thanked God for Prophet Evelyn T.B Joshua for stepping into the shoes of her late husband.

He said that the late Joshua was so humble that he had time for the less privileged and yet mentored several presidents, apostles, bishops and others, adding that he was as prayerful as the Biblical Daniel.

Pastor Daniel Sewale from Zambia recalled that he visited SCOAN to pray on the altar some years ago, when he didn’t even know how to pray.

“I just prayed to be a better father and husband and the second day the man of God said that someone was here and that the person doubted himself. I came out, he then touched me and my life changed. I am one of his fruits. I wish him a happy birthday,” he said.

Pastor Donald from Botswana, in his speech, thanked God for Mrs Evelyn T.B Joshua, and recalled that the late T.B Joshua was in Botswana in 2015.

He recalled that God used the late cleric to give items to the country during COVID-19 pandemic, especially to the poor people.

Conclusively, the event also featured opera performances, songs ministrations, drama presentation, and cutting of birthday cake.
