Ensuring Safe Management Of Wastewater In Lagos + Video # The Scoper Media 

 

 

    The Lagos State Wastewater Management Office wishes to use this medium to clear the air on the video circulation on the Social Media with regard to a Feacal Sludge Vehicle which it is suspected from what can be observed in the video clip had a Faulty Tank Valve in cause of it operation.

The video had been investigaged thoroughly and hereby state that:

That the Feacal or Septage Sludge Vehicle in the video clip is not one the trucks operating Sludge Evacuation in the State, thus the incident in the circulating did not happen anywhere in Lagos State.
For the avoidance of doubt all Feacal Sludge Vehicles operating in Lagos State are colour coded coded, you are hereby urge to disregard the video and associated narrative.

This is to asure you that Mr. Governor and the Agency is alive to her responsibilities to the dear Lagosians and will not rest on our oars in ensuring Lagosian gets the best they derserved from the State Government and all her agencies.

Equally, the office wishes to retrate her position on the installation of BIO-DIGESTER WASTEWATER FACILITIY as means of treatment and management of wastewater generated in our houses and establishements.

BIO-DIGESTER WASTEWATER FACILITIY is not an approved technology to be deploy anywhere in Lagos State, in this vein the office is calling on all Lagosians; Individuals and Corporate Organizations to stop patronage of this technology. The techology has not passed the minimum standard set by the State to safeguard the waterbody pollution in line with mandate of the office as detailed in the State Environmental Management Law of 2017 Part IX. The office is hereby calling on all stakeholders in buiding sector and sister Agencies to collaborate with Office in ensuring that our environment are safe and secure for the good of all so as to avoid consumption of contaminated water for our Domestic and Industrial uses.

The office equally seek the partnership of the Media Organizations, especially Radio and On-line Media organization operating in the State to stop accepting advert, promo or jingle from the promoter of BIO-DIGESTER WASTEWATER TECHNOLOGY, because the technology in it Current Status is a Threat to the Health of Lagosians. As the 4th Realm of the Estate and opinion moulder, you are hereby enjoined to join hands with the State to safegaurd the health of Lagosians.
