In response to a surge in fraudulent recruitment advertisements circulating on unauthorized websites, the Nigeria Immigration Service has issued a stern warning to the public. The Comptroller General of Immigration, Kemi Nanna Nandap, emphasized the gravity of these deceptive schemes, which pose a significant threat to the financial and personal security of unsuspecting Nigerians.

In a press statement signed by DCI Kenneth Udo, the Service Public Relations Officer, these illegitimate recruitment activities are not endorsed by the Nigeria Immigration Service, and the public is strongly advised to exercise caution. CGI Kemi Nanna Nandap clarified that there is currently no ongoing recruitment process within the Service, and any claims suggesting otherwise are false and should be disregarded.

Legitimate recruitment exercises by the Nigeria Immigration Service are exclusively advertised through reputable national dailies, television broadcasts, and the official website, www.immigration.gov.ng. It’s important to note that participation in these authentic processes is entirely free of charge.
