Folio Tech, Stakeholders Support Kiddies Mirror Football Match }{ By Cleopatra Eki }{ The Scoper Media

 

    To promote unity, friendliness and access stamina, tolerance and discipline in soccer field, No fewer than 40 teenage boys played a friendly match.
The event with theme “Teenage Sports Development (grassroot) organised by Kiddies Mirror lnitiative attracted sports fans, parents and families to L&K Estate Sports Field Owode Ajah Lagos.
The interactive football match attracted clusters of boys from 12-17years from different tribes, background, class and cultures from Lagbasa community and environs.
The boys were divided into two groups according to their ages with the supervision of Coach Imoleayomaria Anthony Obi, sports Consultant 5E and Coach Esther Sunday ex- female footballer and ex -Folio Tech graduate respectively.

Among the topics discussed at football field were -Discipline, Tolerance, Career, Child Rights Laws Awareness, Social interaction, Public Speaking and Relaxation.
The boys had a good time playing soccer among themselves, interacting and networking.

Mr Olufolahan Olumide, Chief Executive Officer, Folio Tech lnstitute Addressing the boys urged them to embrace lnformation and communication Technology (ICT), academics along with football skills to contribute to national building.
Olumide, special guest, believes in “catch them young,” hence Folio Tech is helping society to begin to see the significance of early childhood education in technology and remove some of misconceptions of the need for only degree training for careers.
He stressed on the right leadership values to enable the teenage boys think and grow to become the kind of leaders Nigerians need.
Folio Tech lnstitute boss spoke on “ICT, Construction and vocational opportunities for Today’s world and the future.

He emphasized the significance of ICT,technical and vocational education. Disclosing that Folio Tech lnstitute had provided space and learning opportunities for these courses for, immediate and future job placement.

He also gave scholarship to 20 teenage boys to learn these different skills of choice at Folio Tech lnstitute, among them are carpentry, steel Fabrication & Welding, Painting & Decorations (wall-decoration and decorative painting)

Other courses are plumbing &Pipe -Fitting, Electrical lnstallation and maintenance work and Radio Television and Electronics.

Coach Imoleayomaria Anthony Obi, Sports Consultant and child’s right expert advised them against cultism, gang violence, crime among others. He cautioned against the vices which can affect their dreams and aspirations.
Coach Anthony Obi life coach and leadership expert, taught the boys some interpersonal and intra personal skills to make the society a better place.
Coach Richard of Jarus football Club said he was told about the Kiddies Mirror boys match in a short notice.

He promised to support my boys because he uses that field to coach his footballers Jarus FC too.
Kiddies Mirror lnitiative appreciated Mrs Rosberg Micheal Ezebuno, phonology Consultant and Human &Child’s rights expert and Blessing Esu, French language coach, also sponsors and partners, organisations such as Folio Tech,Firm Academy Foundation and JARUS Football Club, Olumide JARUS F C and others for making the event a success.
