On Tuesday, Mr. Emmanuel Emefienem, the Managing Director and CEO of Premium Trust Bank, visited several special schools in Ekiti State. This visit marks a significant step in the bank’s initiative to collaborate with the state government to enhance the quality of education in these schools and provide vital support for individuals living with disabilities. Through this partnership, Premium Trust Bank aims to uplift the lives of those in special schools and contribute to the broader efforts to foster inclusivity and empowerment within the community.
Princess Adetoun Agboola, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Education and Social Inclusion, alongside Dr. Folakemi Olomojobi, the Head of Service, and other senior government officials, graciously received a distinguished delegation from the Bank. The gathering marked a significant moment of collaboration, underscoring the commitment of both parties to advancing key initiatives in special education and social inclusion within the state.
The group embarked on a guided tour of the special schools to evaluate the strides achieved under the leadership of the BAO administration. As they moved through the campuses, they observed firsthand the tangible progress that had been made, reflecting the administration’s commitment to enhancing educational opportunities. The visit was a comprehensive assessment of the advancements and improvements that had transformed these institutions.
Key officials warmly welcomed the PT Bank team, underscoring the importance of the visit. Among the dignitaries present were Dr. Moyo Ekundayo, the Senior Adviser and Director-General of OTSD; Professor Akeem Azeez, the Senior Adviser on Higher Education; Honorable Yemisi Ayokunle, the Senior Adviser on Social Investment Programs; and Mr. Taju Adejumo, the Permanent Secretary of the Governor’s Office. Their presence highlighted the administration’s commitment to fostering strong partnerships and advancing strategic initiatives.
