       Guild of Photojournalists Nigeria (GPN) has concluded plans to hold its annual conference/exhibition and award on Friday, December 8, 2023, at NBA Centre, G.R.A Ikeja, Lagos. Ahead of this year’s event, the group executives visited the Chairman, of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Lagos Council, Mr. Adeleye Ajayi, and the Executives at the council secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos to Intimate the union about the GPN forthcoming conference.

The GPN Executives were led the its Chairman, Abiodun Ajala, on the entourage is the Secretary, Odutayo Odusanya,   Mr. Ben Uwalaka, and a member, Adekola Gbamgbala.

      The theme for the conference is “Environmental Pollution: Threat to Human, Social and Economic Rights;

With Sub-theme, “Artificial Intelligence and Spread of Misinformation in Today’s Photojournalism”

According to information gathered by The Verdict, the conference will be chaired by Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi the Group Chairman, of Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc, and Matron of the Guild of Photojournalists.
