Proudly representing the good people of Agege Constituency 01, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa is one of the most experienced legislators and currently the longest serving Member in the Lagos State House of Assembly.

He was born on November 11, 1972 and graduated from the Lagos State University where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Law (L.LB) and later enrolled at the Nigeria Law School.

An early starter in politics, his political career began at the dawn of the 4th Republic when he successfully won election into Agege Local Government Legislative Council as a Councillor in Ward E and where he served as Deputy Leader. Before he became a Councillor, he was an active party member who served as the Zonal Chairman, Exco member and Campaign Committee Chairman.

Building on his political achievements and experience, in Y2003 at the age of 31, Obasa contested and convincingly won election to the 5th Assembly of the Lagos State House of Assembly on the platform of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) to represent Agege Constituency 1.

A vibrant, thorough and reliable legislator and a darling to the people of Agege, Obasa had no problem renewing his mandate for a 4-time record in 2007, 2011, 2015 and 2019.
