WIGWE: If They Say The Weather Was Bad, Who Authorized The Pilot To Fly The Helicopter?- Isiokpo CSO ๐ŸŽŠ The Scoper Media

THE Chief Security Officer (CSO) of Isiokpo kingdom in Rivers State, Wobodo Amadi Jnr, has said that they are not satisfied with the explanations that have been given about the death of the Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings, Herbert Wigwe. He said that the American Government should come and tell them what exactly killed their son.

It should be recalled that the banking mogul died in the United States after a helicopter he was in crashed. He died alongside his wife and son, and three others. Days after his death, the US authorities that the crash was due to weather conditions. The Isiokpo CSO questioned who authorized the pilot to fly the helicopter if the weather conditions were bad.

Speaking with Saturday Vanguard, Amadi Jnr said that they are not convinced by the recent report from the US authorities. He threatened that they would stage a protest at the American Embassy, the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja for two weeks if the authorities failed to give them a convincing reason of what caused Wigwe’s death.

He said, “The US Government should come and explain to us what killed our son. We will stage a peaceful protest at the American embassy, and the Villa (Nigeria’s seat of power) in Abuja and occupy major roads for two weeks if we are not presented with a convincing reason for what led to his death. If they say the weather was bad, who then authorized the pilot was fly the helicopter?”

The late Wigwe is set to be buried in Isiokpo on March 9, 2024, and the community has been wearing a new look ahead of the event.

It should be recalled that about two weeks ago, the community had held a seven-day mourning in honour of the late banking mogul whom they said was a light to the Isiokpo community
