   Hon Ambassador Chibuzor Patrick Osigwe set to speak at the School Sensitization Program on Underage Gambling, coming up in Amuwo Odofin Local Government area of Lagos State on the 26th of January, 2024.
This programe is set to promote safer gaming for a sustainable society
It should be noted at the junction HonBuzopat expressed worry over the increasing spate of underage gambling in Nigeria.
To this end, she said the event is to sensitize school children on the dangers of underage gambling.
The program would sensitize parents through different media channels on the need to educate their wards on the worrying trend.
She mentioned that noted that there is a very high percentage of children trying to gamble and make quick money
According to her, the organization is sensitizing school children and discouraging them from gambling, just as there are plans to take the sensitization to other schools and communities in Lagos State.
She has it that ‘we are aware of the threats that underage gambling pose to the society, and they are ready to collaborate with stakeholders to tackle it headlong’
