Hon. Kolawole Lawal Mobolorunduro (KLM) has assured his supporters that the adoption of the presidential and vice presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the 25th February 2023 general elections by Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) will not affect other elective positions especially the House of Representatives elections coming up on Saturday February 25th, 2023
The Law maker, an accomplished politician representing Egbado south/ Ipokia Federal Constituency at the National Assembly and a strong member of the party said: “APM has no affiliation with PDP in our federal constituency coming general elections. The party (APM) will contest other elective positions including Senate, House of Representatives, Governorship and State House of Assembly seats.
Hon. Lawal who is popularly known as KLM, who states this at a rally at Owode Yewa , Ogun State during his re-election campaign therefore urged his supporters to go all out and vote massively for him come Saturday February 25th, 2023.
His words: “We should not be disturbed
with the adoption of the presidential and vice presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the 25th February 2023 elections by Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM).
“The party has made it clear that this move will not affect other elective positions where APM has filled candidates. So l urge all our members to go out and vote massively for me on Saturday February 25th, 2023 for my return to the House of Representatives to represent Egbado South/Ipokia Federal Constituency again.
“ We should also do same for Alhaja Sikirat Ajibola who is seeking re-election into the Ogun House of Assembly to represent Ipokia state Constituency and Asiwaju Alani Adejumo who is seeking election into the Ogun State House of Assembly representing Yewa South State Constituency’.
It would be recalled that the Chairman of the party, Alhaji Yusuf Mamman Dantalle had on Thursday in a statement, announced the adoption of the PDP presidential candidates by the party citing their capabilities and credentials as major reasons.
