In what we come across as really startling development is the video going round the internet posted by a Nigerian doctor which revealed CCTV evidence of a Nurse slapping a House officer unexpectedly. The incident happened in Central Hospital Auchi, Edo State.
It was gathered that the nurse had connived with an orderly to lie against the doctor. They had claimed he physically assaulted her first.
They also reportedly hid all the files of the patients on admission that particular day in a bid to eliminate witnesses that may testify in favour of the doctor.
According to reports, the said nurse is friends with the hospital’s MD who quickly set up a committee to look into the case.
However, the case changed after the CCTV footage was played at the hearing. The house officer was spotted sitting, while the Nurse stood directly in front of him, screaming her rage. According to the footage, the nurse was attempting to convey a strong message to the house officer while he stayed cool and continued with his task.
The female nurse then slapped the house officer, who instantly replied by slapping her twice.
