A suspect named Funmilayo Mogbojuri has confessed to stealing babies in Ondo State. The lady was arrested by the Ondo State police command, after she stole a day old baby while the mother was taking her bath.
This was revealed by the Ondo State Police command in a statement they released via their twitter handle on Wednesday.
The suspect stole the baby, which was a day old on the 13th of this month while the mother was taking her bath. The Ondo State police tracked her to Sagamu in Ogun state and she was arrested there.
However, after her arrest and during interrogations, she confessed to committing the crime. She also confessed on how she stole a baby in January 2021, but the baby died few days later.
The Ondo State police revealed that her format was to beg for a place to pass the night, and then the next day she will abscond with the host baby.
