DELTA KILLINGS: “As I Speak To You, A Lot Of Dead Bodies Are Flowing On Rivers Nun” -Jonathan Lokpobiri 🎊 The Scoper Media

The National President of Ijaw Youth Council, Mr Jonathan Lokpobiri, has reacted to the alleged destruction of lives and properties in a Bayelsa Community by the military, over the killing of 17 military officers in Delta State. While speaking, he noted that a lot of dead bodies are currently flowing on River Nun in Bayelsa State, as a result of the incident that happened in Okuama Community of Delta State.

Speaking further, Mr Lokpobiri urged the Nigerian Military to come out and tell Nigerians the connection between what happened in Okuama Community and the alleged killings going on in a Bayelsa community.

Mr Lokpobiri made this disclosure when he was being interviewed on Arise Television. He noted that even if there is a connection between those who killed the military officers in Delta State and the Bayelsa community, the military ought to have used technology to fish them out, instead of destroying entire community.

He said: “As I speak to you, a lot of dead bodies are flowing on River Nun, on the account for search of criminals, perhaps may have played a role in this crisis.”

Furthermore, the Ijaw Youth leader noted that a lot of old women who cannot run are still in the bush, noting that a lot of dead bodies have been recovered and people are not allowed to move out of the community.

In addition, he condemned the killing of the military officers in Delta State, noting that the military shouldn’t have approached the issue differently, instead of destroying communities.
