Concerned by the result of ravaging effect of immortality, poor health status, and lack of access to healthcare, Labour Party has embarked on free health treatment for the masses in the country.
Speaking at event , Engr Ajayi Olasupo Oludeye, Chairman Labour Party lfako-ljaiye Lagos, said the gesture is a collaboration with Doctors for Peter Obi with the Labour Party to carter for the medical health of masses in the community.
He added that the Medical team consists of surgeons, dental doctors, eye doctors and general medical practitioners all attended to the people.
Engr Olasupo Oludeye , said that under the ruling party APC , citizens are suffering from huge taxation, area boys, touts extortion, insecurity, kidnapping, roads are bad, yet asking for road worthiness, hospitals are in bad state among others.
“Nigeria needs a president that would look inwards to develop our economy with local human and material resources, not a president that would pile up foreign debts for future generations to pay.”
Princess Emily Jude, Secretary Labour Party lfako ward, said the party is concerned about people, despite the poor state of Primary Health care and public hospitals , Labour Party cares for people and family regardless of tribes, age and background, we will do more when we come into power.
Today, over 1000 persons from different Communities in that local government Areas have benefitted. She said the people should vote for Peter Obi Presidential candidate of Labour Party who is credible, uncorrupt and transparent and accountable.
“When Labour Party come into power they will revive all medical facilities in order to reduce sicknesses, mental issues and untimely death. The people were given drugs, tablets, gifts of exercise books, hand bands and others.
Labour Party State Chairman, (Lagos) Olukayode Salako said “Nigerian needs credible leaders who are selfless and uncorrupt, Peter Obi meet the standard and he has chosen strong team for the helm of affairs”Vote wisely for Peter Obi, Yusuf Datti Baba Ahmed, G R V , Princess Oyefusi and other credible candidates.
“Nigeria’s next president, he emphasised, is a fearless leader, who knows his worth and could not be bamboozled by political jobbers, cabal or clique. Nigerians should ensure that people vote for highly cerebral, well educated, selfless and forthright candidates.”
These people should be our role models. We desperately need leaders that can turn the country’s economy around” he said.
“ Peter Obi has the capacity and capability to solve our security challenges without fear or favour. Nigeria is bleeding profusely and in dire need of a young, highly educated, committed, visionary, world-class, patriotic and selfless leaders,” he added.
Speaking Comrade Titi Oworu, Labour Party State Women ( Lagos ) said she is supporting the Obi and Datti movement, instead of the regular rallies, the Labour Party is using the medical outreaches in different Local Government Areas in Lagos State Shomolo, Festac, Surulere and lkeja. They have reached the masses and others who cannot afford the exhobitant hospital bills.
Hon Obiageli Madakor, women leader Labour Party LGA lfako disclosed that she grows up to see a better Nigeria richly endowed but today it is shadow of it’s old self.
Madakor said Labour party is a family party which is concerned about physical and mental health of families in the society. She urged them to take decisions with the future in mind.
Ifeanyi Agbo, Organising secretary Labour Party lfako said “We want A new president that must be a servant leader to unite the country. Not a selfish leader that could easily be influenced by the spoils of office. Obi Peter has that forthright credentials.Nigerians should not tolerate an old, sick or unhealthy, corrupt, indolent, religious fundamentalist as president.”
“We also urge all Nigerians to vote wisely, as this suffering and abject poverty must end. Our economy is at the lowest ebb. There is serious insecurity in the country. We want honest, transparent, credible, and diligent with the quality of a world-class president and not a moneybag.
Earlier Hon. Olawoyin Akeem Adeoye , Labour Party Federal House Representatives lfako ljaye, said Nigerians must know the source of wealth of their presidential flag bearers contesting for the parties and ready to serve and not to drain the wealth of the nation.That is the ideal person Nigeria needs now.
He appreciated the Super volunteers for Peter Obi lfako ljaiye LGA and added that together let us move Nigeria from consumption to production.
Adeoye emphasized that the use of their permanent voter’s card (PVC)as their right means to bring about the much needed change required to move the nation forward. .
