Lagos Community Mourns Police Officer Wale Akinlotan Who Slumped, Died On Active Duty  }{ The Scoper Media

 

• Ilupeju Division To Host Night Of Songs On Monday, 13th Nov.

 

 

 

   A Police officer, CPL Olawale Julius Adio Akinlotan has reportedly slumped on duty. The unfortunate incident of the young policeman who hailed from Ogun state is allegedly due to cardiac arrest. Trek Africa Newspaper gathered that the sad event took place on Monday 6th Nov. 2023 while he was on active duty.

Born in 1996, Olawale is a responsive, loving, and jovial officer who is well-known and loved in the Ilupeju community and Lagos police command. This has led to many residents of the axis to flood Ilupeju Division to pay condolence visits and honour the memory of the young man who was cut short in his prime of service.

The brief service to fatherland of late Olawale commenced in 2018 when he enrolled into the Nigerian Police Force as a Constable. He worked at Isheri division after which he worked very closely with the AIG Hakeem Odumosu (retd) as Lagos State Commissioner of Police while attached to Police PRO office as a Camera/media man. He worked with the current DPO of Ilupeju police station, SP Matilda Ngbaronye when she was the Deputy PRO of Lagos State Command.

He distinguished himself as a dutiful, agile officer when he was posted to Ilupeju division. There, he was promoted to the rank of CPL and worked as he served as the orderly to the DPO, SP Matilda Ngbaronye.

CPL Olawale Akinlotan who was a graduate of Mass Communication was a vibrant, intelligent, technology savvy officer with vast in knowledge and ever ready to assist. He was an asset to the Nigeria Police Force and a great ambassador of the Lagos state police command.

The Police officers and men of Ilupeju Divison and the entire Ilupeju community mourns the demise of this young promising officer whose life has been unfortunately cut short.

A night of songs will be held in honor of the late officer at Ilupeju divison on Monday 13th November, 2023. He is survived by father, mother, siblings, and relatives
