By supporting inclusive initiatives and open dialogues, they aim to further solidify these bonds, reflecting Lagos’s tradition of religious tolerance and cooperation. Their pledge underscores a vision of Lagos as a beacon of peace, where diversity is celebrated and community interests are safeguarded
The organization pledged unwavering commitment to defend the rights and interests of every Muslim community throughout the city. Promising inclusivity and unity, it emphasized a vision where no group—regardless of sect or tribe—would face discrimination or neglect. Its mission, rooted in fairness, aimed to bridge divides and foster solidarity among all Muslim communities in the metropolis, creating a safer and more unified environment for everyone.
On the basis of this however, at his inauguration held at the Alausa Secretariat Mosque in Ikeja, the newly sworn-in President, Hon. Chief Mohammed Bello Oyinlomo Danmole, delivered a powerful acceptance speech. He pledged steadfast support for the organization and its goals, assuring the audience of his dedication to serve with integrity and unite all communities under his leadership. Addressing the executive committee and members, Danmole underscored his vision for a stronger, more inclusive organization that champions the well-being of every member, regardless of background.
Oyinlomo Danmole pledged to lead with inclusivity, promising that his team would connect with every community across Lagos to uplift and serve the Muslim Ummah. Emphasizing unity and outreach, he assured that his leadership approach would focus on addressing the needs of all, ensuring that no part of Lagos is left out of his vision for a thriving and connected Muslim community.
He urged patience from both Muslims and non-Muslims, expressing confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s administration. Highlighting the President’s genuine intentions, he assured Nigerians that the current policies, though challenging now, would soon yield positive results for all.
He emphasized that revitalizing the country is a shared responsibility, calling on all Nigerians to work together for a stronger future. He urged people to steer clear of those pushing divisive agendas, as unity is essential for national progress.
Oyinlomo Danmole urged marketers and traders to refrain from unjustly hiking prices, particularly on essential food items. He warned that such actions only deepen the hardships faced by everyday Nigerians, stressing that fair pricing is crucial for easing the burden on the people.
