According to reports,the security operatives of the Lagos state police command have reportedly kick-started a discreet inquiry into how two young girls,who vividly appears to be teenagers and living in the Iyana-Ipaja neighbourhood got convinced to sell their organs for the sum of N200,000 (two hundred thousand naira) to a medical practitioner in Abeokuta,the capital city of Ogun state, without their parents having absolutely no knowledge about their shocking move.
Following the information obtained by news reporters,it was revealed that the above-mentioned duo paid a visit to a medical practitioner at Redwood Specialist Hospital in Abeokuta with the help of an undisclosed grown-up church member, where their organs were sold for N100,000 (a hundred thousand naira) each,which sums it up to N200,000.
Recalling how the secret incident got to the open on Monday 12th September, 2022, when one of the teenagers began to throw up al of a sudden and was immediately transferred to a nearby medical facility by her father, who strongly believed that the illness could not have been more than the common malaria or typhoid that affects people randomly.Surprisingly,after the doctor carried out a diagnosis on her, it was disclosed that the victim’s anus and private area have been seriously tampered with.
On the other hand, the victim who passed out before she was rushed to the hospital regained consciousness and revealed to her father that a woman of the church they were attending lured them to Abeokuta,which is located in Ogun state,where their private organs were sold to a medical practitioner for a price tag.
Additionally, the teenagers claimed that the suspect persuaded them to do as she has instructed them due to the fact that,one of the victims, whose father is a bishop, was not providing adequate funds for them and that she would convey them to a location where they would get N100,000 each to do the unthinkable.Although,the accused church member also sounded a note of warning,saying they are to keep the whole operation secret or lose their lives.
While shedding more light on the case,the victims described how the illegal procedure was carried out on them, claiming that the suspect transported them to Redwood Hospital in Abeokuta, Ogun state, with their parents’ having no idea about what is going on, where the suspect plotted with the medical practitioner known as Doctor Durodola to administer some narcotic injections.
The victims continued saying, that after being coerced, they were then unlawfully transferred to a PDF hospital in Surulere, Lagos, where their ovaries, eggs, and organs were illicitly extracted by the killer doctor without their permission, causing them excruciating pain as they bled profusely.
Furthermore,the youngsters were again transported to a different hospital in Surulere, Lagos, as a result of the horrific experience, they underwent a medical laboratory test and scan that unveiled that their liver, uterus, urine bladder, kidney, spleen, and gall bladder have been badly messed up with.
One of the victims’ father, a Bishop, claimed that when his daughter was rushed to the hospital where a diagnosis was carried out after the younger siblings informed him that they noticed their sister was acting strange because she constantly make use of the restroom with medical kits after which she comes out stained with blood.
