Lagos Police Nab Suspect For Magistrate’s Stamp Forgery And Officer Impersonation 🎊 The Scoper Media 

Detectives from the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) of the Lagos State Police Command have apprehended 48-year-old Charles Chukwudi on charges of forgery and impersonation, as reported by the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP). The arrest marks a significant step in the ongoing efforts to combat fraudulent activities within the state.

After a series of discreet investigations, a suspect was arrested for distributing fake court documents to unsuspecting members of the public. Authorities discovered forged official stamps in his possession, including those of Chief Magistrate Admin, Chief Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun of Court I Yaba, and Magistrate A.B. Ajiferuke of Court Epe

The suspect was caught with a counterfeit police ID card and a doctored photograph of himself in a police uniform. Court officials, who first uncovered his deception, alerted the authorities, prompting a thorough investigation into his fraudulent activities.

On May 22, 2024, he was apprehended at the premises of Tinubu Court, Lagos Island. Following his arrest, he was swiftly brought to court and formally charged.
