The Managing Director/CEO, Lagos State Waste Management (LAWMA), Ibrahim Odumboni received the Award of Excellence at the 15th Nigeria Media Nite-Out Award with a call for the Media to always disseminate unbiased information and not fake news.

Ibrahim Odumboni dedicated the Award of Excellence given to LAWMA to his team and the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu for always given him the needed support and mentorship to deliver a consistently cleaner Lagos for over 25 Million Lagosians.

He advised the Media to be fair in their report and giving the right information is the only way the country can move forward.

He then assured Lagosians that with the acquired Assets by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu for the waste management they have started to see a lot of improvement,and to some rural areas in the state he said is quite sure that in couple of months Lawma will be able to reach out to all the riverine areas we have in Lagos.
