The Board Member of Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) and Chairman of Executive Group, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan has hailed the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his one-year anniversary since inauguration. Dr. Ogunsan applauded the President’s numerous achievements in the last one year and expressed hope for continued development and progress that would effect Nigerians positively under his administration.
Noting that the President stopped the precarious economic condition from bleeding to penury and indebtedness, Ogunsan observed that Nigeria’s economy is set on the trajectory of development.
His brief note on the 1st Anniversary shared with Trek Africa Newspaper, the Chairman of POCACOV in Lagos State and newly appointed International Peace Advocate by the United Nations Positive Livelihood Award Centre (UN-POLAC), Dr. Ayo Ogunsan remarked: ‘Congratulations to you sir, our dear President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR on the occasion of your first anniversary in office as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. When we set out on this journey, it looked bleak but we can begin to see the glimmer of light in all various sectors which have received commendation both domestically and internationally. It is been tough but Nigeria is in dire straits, it takes a leader like you to salvage the situation.’
‘As the 2nd year begins today, I want to urge you to ensure that we continue on the path of economic recovery. This economic recovery should be felt directly by the majority of Nigerians in their plates, their homes, their offices, and everywhere. Noteworthy of mention among these laudable achievements is the stabilisation of the nation’s economy. Through strategic policy reforms and innovative initiatives aimed at boosting local production and reducing dependence on imports, President Tinubu administration has laid a solid foundation for sustainable economic growth that will this generation.’
‘In the security sector, President Tinubu has made substantial efforts to improved national security and combat terrorism. There has been a significant reduction in insurgent activities in the northern regions of the country. This success story in security has been attributed to increased funding for the armed forces, better coordination of security agencies, and the introduction of advanced technology and intelligence in security operations.’
‘The president has also given greater priority to infrastructure development, leading to the completion and initiation of new several key projects. These include the rehabilitation of major highways, the construction of bridges, and the modernisation of critical transport hubs, which are expected to boost trade and ease the movement of goods and people across the country.’
‘Sir, please continue to be the leader with listening ear to well-meaning Nigerians who may agree or disagree sometimes with your innovative plans. We will keep supporting you and cheering you. I pray that we will all enjoy the possibilities ahead of us’, Ogunsan concluded.
