Since the dawn of January 2024, their relentless deployments have become the cornerstone of success in safeguarding the state. With each stride along the highway and through the bustling streets, they have woven a tapestry of security, thwarting the ambitions of lawless elements and restoring peace to the land.
In a bold move to bolster security along the Abuja-Kaduna expressway, a visionary strategic initiative has taken flight – quite literally. Picture this: a sleek helicopter, soaring gracefully above the bustling trains below, serving not just as an escort but as a symbol of protection and vigilance.
Under the keen directive of the Inspector General of Police, this aerial guardian embodies both deterrence and swift action. Its presence alone sends a clear message to would-be troublemakers: this corridor is watched, guarded, and safeguarded. But its role doesn’t end there.
With trained personnel aboard, equipped to handle any situation, this airborne sentinel stands ready to swoop down at a moment’s notice, should any untoward incident arise. It’s not

In a testament to their unwavering dedication, the Nigeria Police Force has achieved extraordinary results, apprehending a total of 281 individuals involved in various criminal activities. Among them are 81 individuals linked to armed robbery, 40 suspects connected to kidnapping, 73 individuals suspected of murder or homicide, 36 individuals accused of rape, 22 individuals involved in cult-related crimes, and 28 individuals engaged in other criminal activities. These efforts stand as a beacon of hope in the ongoing battle against crime, showcasing the relentless pursuit of justice and safety for all citizens.
In a dazzling display of law enforcement prowess, the police have triumphantly seized a cache of 16 firearms, each with its own unique personality, alongside a staggering 686 rounds of ammunition, painting a vivid mosaic of safety and security in our community.
Additionally, our operations have led to the retrieval of 28 stolen vehicles, over 200 harmful weapons, and 600 bags of fertilizers. A total of three million, three hundred and fifty thousand Naira (N3,350,000) only, previously paid as ransom to kidnappers, has been successfully recovered, while our swift and coordinated efforts have resulted in the safe rescue of 158 kidnapped victims, all of whom have been reunited with their families unharmed. The majority of the suspects have been charged to court. The parade, however, comprises 63 suspects who are yet to be prosecuted.
In a dramatic turn of events, the notorious figure known as Ibrahim Abdullahi, also recognized by his alias MANDE, was apprehended beneath the sprawling expanse of the Abuja-Kaduna Road flyover, near the bustling Rido Junction. Startling authorities, Abdullahi openly admitted to orchestrating a wave of terror along the infamous Kaduna-Abuja highway, proudly proclaiming himself as the helm of a menacing kidnap syndicate. His name, now etched alongside other infamous criminal masterminds such as Dogo Gide and Bello Turji, sends shockwaves through the region as law enforcement grapples with this significant breakthrough in their ongoing battle against crime.
In the shadows of the night, he became a ghostly figure haunting the highways between Abuja and Kaduna. His name whispered in fear among travelers, a spectral presence orchestrating a sinister symphony of kidnappings. From the verdant fields of Green Field University to the winding roads that connected cities, his presence was an ominous specter, leaving a trail of fear and uncertainty in his wake.
In the dim glow of the moonlight, Ibrahim, Auwal Ayuba, and Babangida Alhaji Bello emerged from the shadows, their faces obscured by masks, as they launched their daring assault on the train rumbling through the rugged terrain from Abuja. Their intentions were grim, their hearts hardened by desperation and greed. With a thunderous roar, they
descended upon the unsuspecting passengers, chaos and terror trailing in their wake. Screams pierced the night as lives hung in the balance, some lost forever to the merciless hands of fate, others seized and taken into the darkness, their fate uncertain. But amidst the wreckage and the wails, their names etched themselves into the annals of infamy, marking them as the architects of mayhem on that fateful night in the Kateri-Rijana expanse of Kaduna state.
