CAUGHT LIVE! Man Arrested Three Months After Setting Wife Ablaze ✓✓ The Scoper Media


   According to a news that was published by the Channels Television News Online this afternoon, it was reported that the police operatives in Ogun State, have successfully arrested a man for allegedly setting his wife ablaze in the Ibogun area of the state.

Information that was given by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, in the state, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, revealed the suspect’s name as Hassan Azeez, as he claimed that Azeez was arrested following a complaint that was lodged at Ibogun Divisional Headquarters by the victim’s father, on October 22, 2022.

He alleged that the 46-year-old suspect, poured petrol on his wife after a minor disagreement ensued between them and after then fled from home to another country, as the victim, a mother of one, was rushed to a hospital in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

It was reported that after committing the act, the suspect claimed to have fled to the neighbouring Benin Republic, and has been on the trail of police operatives since them until he was arrested on the 22nd of January, 2023.

When Azeez was being paraded, he said, “I set my wife ablaze because I told her to cook for me, but she was busy washing my clothes.”

He further said, “I got annoyed because i was hungry, and the annoyance made me to pour petrol on her and set her on fire.”

However, when he was asked whose clothes the woman was washing, he confessed that it was his clothes.
