Adams College donates cheque for scholarship and sponsorship to Federal Nigeria Society for Blind for total rehabilitation and transformation.
Mr Adams Adebola, Proprietor Adams College said “it was part of the mission to put smiles on the faces of the visually impaired persons, less-privileged and those in need by ‘Sharing love to them.”
The Valentine Day party organised by Adams College in FNSB Oshodi Lagos. “”It is annual routine bringing 100 students of Adams College to visit Federal Nigeria Society for Blind (Vocational Training Center) to spend time and partying with blind trainees on Valentine’s day.”
“Our students are here today, to rekindle love and hope for the blinds, play, interact with and spend quality time with them and never stimatize them, ”
He recalled the first class -graduate of University of Nigeria Lillian was once a student from FNSB and passed through Adams College, so any blind person would be rehabilitated and transformed through academic and vocational skills.
Some Adams College students acknowledged that interacting with blinds have been a wholesome way of channeling their love and energies positively .
The founder.Adams College. said that with the many problems Nigerians are faced with, he could only but imagine how the visually impaired persons are surviving, adding that the donations and partying would give hope to the blinds for a better future.
He applauded the.FNSB school authority principal, teachers and students for the commitment and tolerance towards the academic future development of their trainees. While reassuring the management of the school of the FNSB for the welfare and growth of the.trainees .
Adams encouraged the teachers not to give up knowing how hard things were but continually give their best in teaching and imbibing good morals to positively enhance the character for national development.
Mr Mayowa Oke, Executive Secretary FNSB appreciated the Adams College CEO and Adams Foundation for their support and consistently showing love for the past 15 years with the kind gesture despite cashless crunch and troubled season in the nation’s history.
He appreciated the Adams College for Five hundred thousand donation ( N500), mutual relationship with FNSB over the years for giving scholarships, tutorial, training and empowering our students to University level.
Oke said the donations would go a long way to give hope to our students and aid their academic and vocational education.
In her vote of thanks, Mrs Arit Tunde-lmoyo , Vice Chairman FNSB appreciated Adams College and Mr Adams who is known for his unwavering heart of Gold and compassion towards humanity and given to the current hardship.”
