The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), in partnership with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and backed by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), has crafted an in-depth report examining Nigeria’s regulatory landscape for Information and Communications Technology (ICT). This ITU Collaborative Regulation Report offers a comprehensive review of the country’s strategies and frameworks for ICT governance, highlighting Nigeria’s efforts to advance its digital ecosystem.

On July 22, 2024, the Honorable Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy unveiled a groundbreaking report at the NCC Mbora Annex Office. This pivotal document shines a spotlight on Nigeria’s innovative regulatory collaborations within the ICT sector, marking a significant milestone in the nation’s digital transformation journey.
At the launch event, Dr. Bosun Tijani delivered a compelling speech, capturing the audience with his insightful remarks and visionary ideas as thus…“15-20 years ago, NCC was just regulating the telecommunications sector. Today, NCC regulates the foundation for which any economy will be prosperous. Without communications technology, there is absolutely no nation today that is prosperous.”
