The Kwara North Youth Consultative Forum (KNYCF ) has congratulated Amb. Mohammed Mohammed over his appointment as the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA)
A statement by the chairman of the forum, Mallam AbdulDayan Aishat Haruna, described Amb. Mohammed’s appointment as a square peg in a square hole.
His statement reads, “I congratulate one of our prides in Kwara North Amb. Mohammed Mohammed on his appointment as the director general of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA).” Ambassador Mohammed has track record of excellence having served in various Nigerian diplomatic missions and with over 25 years experience in diplomacy, foreign policy and intelligence.” Abduldayan said.
He added “there is no doubt his appointment is a square peg in a square hole, we believe he will bring his expertise and diplomatic experiences to bear in curtailing the security threat bedevilling the country.”
AbdulDayan also appreciated president Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Amb. Mohammed to head a strategic Agency like NIA.
“I also on behalf of people of Kwara North and Kwara State at large appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for finding one of our sons worthy of this appointment, this appointment came in a challenging moment when the country is battling with the issue of insecurity, but we are very sure that Amb. Mohammed Mohammed will do his best in changing the narratives and justify the confidence reposed in him by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu”
