The North Central United in Lagos under the leadership of Hon. Sharu Mohammed Kpatako hereby congratulate our able president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his electoral victory in the February 25 election to lead the country to the promise land. We are strongly behind Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and we use this opportunity to pray for him that the Almighty God will continue to bless and favor him in all facets of life.
Hon. Kpatako in his speech, said that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory is a testament to a renewed hope for a better, forward-looking thinking Nigeria, in which we can better define our destiny as a people.
Kpatako described the president-elect as a true renaissance president, a pro democracy activist who was obviously destined for leadership. He said Nigerians have closely followed the President-Elect’s trajectory as a leader of the National Democratic Coalition, NADECO, Senator, Governor and eventually, National Leader of the Progressives under the auspices of the APC.
On this basis however, Hon. Kpatako said “The country holds the president-Elect to higher standards than most, and we are confident that you will take the nation to heights previously unknown”
In the same vein, the North Central United group has thrown strong weights in full support to the Lagos State Governor for his second term.
In a press statement signed by the secretary, Umaru Idris Tauhid, he maintained that Sanwo-Olu has done so well and on this he deserves the second term. He said “We have mobilized our people both far and near and they are fully ready to vote for Sanwo-Olu for his second term and insha Allah he will win the election”
Hon. Kpatako said Lagos has given so much to all of us without discrimination and this is time we must pay back by showing gratitude to the Governor (Sanwo-Olu) who we believe has done well to the best of his ability. So, we have mobilized our people and we are ready to vote Sanwo-Olu for the second term.
