The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, marked the end of the year Thanksgiving and Carol service in a grandstyle, at the State Command Headquarters, on Wednesday, 14th December, 2022, in Alausa, Ikeja.
According to a press statement e-signed by the CDPRO Lagos, DSC Abolurin Oluwaseun, fcss, amb., mpa, anipr, the Chaplain, Pastor Agwu Maduabuchi said, “the Thanksgiving and Carol service, was organized, by the command’s chapel, known as the Chapel of Solution, in view to close the year with special Thanksgiving, with overwhelming gratitude to God Almighty in all ramifications.”
More so, the event had several sessions, varying from the renditions of hymns, songs and special numbers, from the Solution voices, bible readings, taken by the State Commandant, Commandant of Corps ( CC ) Edenabu Okoro Eweka, and other senior officers and teaching of the Word of God, which was delivered, by the guest speaker, Master Warrant Officer Monday R., of the Nigerian Air Force, at the special service.
The Lagos State Commandant, Commandant of Corps ( CC ) Edenabu Okoro Eweka, also witnessed, the event along side many other senior officers, of the command, with the aim to thank God for all his goodness and mercies, over the lives of officers and men, amongst other numerous good things that the command has received from the good Lord in the year 2022.
The Chapel also honoured, Chief Superintendent of Corps ( CSC ) Frank Amaechi Adigwu( Pastor ) rtd, one of its own, who has contributed, immensely, to the spiritual and career growth, of the Chapel and officers and men in the command. The State Commandant presented a cash gift, to the retired but never tired man of God, on behalf of the Chapel.
Commandant Eweka charged officers and men to remain fervent in the Lord and appealed to them to pray for Nigeria, especially as we move very closely, towards the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
The colourful event, featured, Pastors, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Corps ( DSC ) Abolurin Oluwaseun, who anchored the event, the Chapel choir ( Solution voices ), invited guests, families and friends of officers and men et ce tera.
