The General Overseer of the Omega Power Ministries (OPM) has built a new house for the family of a police officer who was killed in Rivers State last month.
Apostle (Dr) Chibuzor Gift Chinyere also gave a scholarship to the son of the late officer, Mr Nelsons Azuma, who was a member of the church – and was a regular tithe payer.
The late officer died in the early days of May after unknown gunmen attacked two police stations, killing officers and burning patrol cars.
The Abia state-born preacher announced the development on Facebook saying: “Late Brother Nelsons Azuma was a member of OPM. Died in active service after Rumuoji police station was attacked last month without a house for his wife and children. Apostle chibuzor OPM decided to put up a house for him and also has giving his son SCHOLARSHIP to go and study in CANADA. Fully funded through tithes and offerings in OPM. Remember while he was alive his offerings and tithes was also put inside the offering box.”
