Kamsiyochukwu Nkechinyere Umeh, a student of Deeper Life High School, who gained nationwide recognition for achieving the highest score of 360 in the 2023 UTME, has continued to impress with her recent results from the West African Examination Council, WAEC.
In a phone call with Vanguard, Kamsiyochukwu’s father, Mr. Umeh, shared that her daughter secured outstanding grades: A1 in Economics, Civic Education, English Language, Further Mathematics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Computer Science. She earned a B2 in Physics and an A1 in Dyeing and Bleaching.
Recall that the 16 year old Kamsiyochukwu, have applied to the University of Lagos, to study Chemical Engineering.
Kamsiyochukwu, who earned 360 points in the UTME in May to win the title of overall best student, received just one B2.
The 16 year old student from Mowe, Ogun State’s Deeper Life High School received A1 grades in Economics, Civic Education, English Language, Further Mathematics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Studies, Dyeing & Bleaching, and Physics, while receiving a B2 in Physics.
She has already received multiple scholarships to study at several Nigerian colleges as a result of her success in the UTME.
The Odumegwu Ojukwu University and the Anchor University both granted Kamsiyochukwu scholarships to allow her to enroll in any program of her choice, in addition to the Anambra State Government.
