The senator elect of the Labour Party in Anambra Central, Victor Umeh was recently on Arise TV Prime Time to discuss the outcome of the court proceedings between the Labour Party and INEC on Wednesday.
During the program, Victor Umeh maintained that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi emerged victorious in the election, he said that Tinubu’s victory doesn’t reflect the will of the people which was why there wasn’t a wild spread jubilation across the country.
He also claimed that young man in Plateau State committed suicide after Obi lost the election. According to him, the young man lost hope after seeing that Obi was “rigged” out of the election.
He said;
“Can’t you see when the result was announced where did you see celebration in Nigeria? If those people voted for the declared winner, there would be wild Jubilation across Nigeria. One youth was shown to have hanged himself in Plateau State, he gave up hope that Peter Obi they looked up to to salvage the country have been rigged out. He hanged himself and left a suicide note.”
