Pistis Empowerment Foundation Launches Pistis Life and Leadership Institute(PLLI) + Photos ~ The Scoper Media


  Leadership is a much talked about topic all around the world, one many would agree to be one of the major challenges facing developing nations like Nigeria. While many people continue in their analysis and criticism of Leaders, the Pistis Empowerment Foundation (PEF) led by Godman Akinlabi, has taken a bold step to make a significant contribution to the development of Leaders that will transform the African continent by establishing PLLI (Pistis Life and Leadership Institute).

  The Pistis Life and Leadership Institute was Launched on Wednesday – November 17, 2021. The vision of the Institute is to build a community of exceptional leaders who will be equipped with the right values to transform societies and impact Africa. Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the Occasion – Dr Femi Johnson stated that the raison d’etre for PLLI schools was to change the poor leadership narrative in Africa by developing a community of people imbued with the right values and equipped to positively impact Africa.








  While November 17, 2021, marked the official launch of the institute, we have been made to understand that the impact of the institute has already been felt. In her closing remarks, one of the members of the Interim Management Board (IMB) of the institute -Busola Wale-Siyanbola, informed us that the institute had held, for its inaugural outing, a 2-day Virtual Course On “Building a Future-Proof Workforce-Understanding and Leading the Millennial and Gen-Z”; in September 2021 with the singular objective of equipping mid-level managers and CEOs for the future of work, upskilling their leadership and management capabilities with a view to driving superior organizational performance, and educating them on balancing diversity and inclusiveness with long standing organizational culture and values.

  She also made us aware that as a follow-on to the launch, the Institute’s School Of Enterprise Development (SOED) would be flagging off the school’s operations with its first maiden course, themed: “The Business of Entertainment (BOE)” on the 5th of December 2021, aimed at educating artistes (both Established and upcoming), talent managers, and media personalities; on the business perspectives to the entertainment industry and how to build longevity and a Legacy in the Industry. This will be closely followed by a Voter’s registration sensitization webinar tagged “MAKING YOUR VOTES COUNT”; billed to hold on January15, 2022 and hosted by the Institute’s School of Governance and Politics (SOGP)

   Another member of the Interim Management Board of the School, Kunbi Adeoti, informed our correspondent that the Institute which is aggressively working towards becoming one of Africa’s leading hybrid education hubs offering forward-thinking open enrolment courses, specialized executive programs, and short modular courses, has four schools targeting specific bodies of knowledge:

  The School of Governance & Politics.

  The School of Leadership Development.

  The School of Enterprise Development; and

The School of Faith Ministries.

  From our correspondent’s interaction with the Founder, Godman Akinlabi during the Q &A sessions, it was gathered that PLLI’s operational focus was on providing a unique learning institution powered by a robust digital technology base (for scale & spread) and primarily targeting Generation Zs and the Millennials who cut across different Socio-economic Classes (SEC). We also were made to understand from our engagement with the leadership team of the Institute that this operational focus elaborated by the founder is targeted at putting paid to the debate on whether Africa’s largely youthful population is an opportunity to be leveraged, or a ticking time bomb. In light of this, PLLI is on a mission to transform Africa, leveraging the potential of the growing youthful population; by equipping a leader for every hundred people.
