The Emir of Daura, Alhaji Faruk Umar Faruk, has married a 22-year-old lady, A’isha Yahuza Gona.Sources told newsmen that the wedding held in Safana town of Katsina State.
The source said the Emir tied the knot at a lowkey ceremony after a brief courtship which lasted only one week.
The bride is a daughter of Alhaji Yahuza Gona, former local government chairman of Safana.
Another source told Daily Trust that the bride was already in her new home with her husband in Daura.
The Emir reportedly married a 20-year-old bride lady, Aisha Iro Maikano, in December last year.:
