Gentle men of the press and all protocols duly o served.
We are here today to speak concerning the ongoing election in our dear country and mostly about our dear state *EKO AKETE*
Firstly, we sincerely appreciate the entire Omo Yoruba for their gigantic support towards the emergence of our dear father and illustrious son of Oodua Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We thank you all for your support towards his ambition and we believe that through your support, his aim and objectives for a greater Nigeria will highly be accomplished.
It was so unfortunate that our heritage is not been protected at the level of Lagos State. Our dear Yoruba Lagosian refused to come out en-mass on 25th February, 2023 to vote for our dear Asiwaju, a man that has been fighting for Yoruba race since the inception of democracy even during the military junta.
It is a big slap on us that some strangers, passers by and visitors begin to see themselves as son of the soil and continue to programme out dear Lagos as *NO MAN’S LAND*. This is an aberration that we will never tolerate of which we will do everything in our capacity to fight against. We (Yoruba) are peace lover. We tolerate and accommodate everyone that has genuine intention of coming into our land. But, it is better at this point that a privilege must not be turn into right by all these visitors.
Since 1999 that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu governed Lagos State, we have had a lot of tremendous development and template has been on ground which our dear Governor Babajide Sanwoolu is also following. Almost every Yoruba family has a family working under LASTMA, LASEMA, LAWMA, LASRRA, LIRS or Lagos State Neighborhood Watch Etc and these are organization funded by the progressive leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his lieutenant.
At this point in time, we want to totally condemned unfounded accusations and false alarmed raised against INEC officials in the build up to the compilation of the various States 2023 Presidential results by Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
It is advisable for Chief Olusegun Obasanjo to lead his anointed candidate Mr Peter Obi and other aggrieved people into Election Tribunal instead of causing anarchy and chaos in the land.
Conclusively, we hereby call on Yoruba sons and daughters to rally round Governor Babajide Sanwoolu and voted him aggressively in for his second term. This is not about APC, this is not about Sanwoolu, this is not about Asiwaju but all about protecting our heritage by not allowing a visitor and an invader to take our land. Our fore father’s preserved this land for us. It is our duty to also preserve it for our unborn generation. We must protect our future generation. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
Oodua a gbewa o.
