   The board member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayo Ogunsan has poured encomiums on the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his victory at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal which concluded its sitting yesterday in Abuja FCT.

The landmark judgment delivered by the 5-man panel, Trek Africa Newspaper can report, was the first-of-its-kind in the country to be televised live to a global viewership and also acclaimed to be the longest ever having taken a record 12 hours.

In his laudatory, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan revealed: ‘Yesterday’s judgment is a landmark day in the history of Nigeria. It is a consolidation of Nigeria’s unbroken democracy since 1999.’

‘What gladdens my heart the more is that the person at the center of it all is a political gladiator who has stood for enthronement of democratic values and constitutional rights since the early 1990s. He is a foremost champion of Democracy in Nigeria. When we say may you reap what you sow, this is it. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu paid his dues for Nigeria and God rewarded him. The 5-man panel delivered an unanimous judgment quashing all petitions by his opponents’, Ogunsan told Trek Africa Newspaper.

In his advice to Nigerians, Dr. Ogunsan said: ‘It is a day of rejoicing, thanksgiving, and prayers throughout Nigeria. I want to urge Nigerians to file behind our President and Commander-in-chief for the socioeconomic progress and political development of our country. Nigeria deserves our unity now irrespective of party affiliations, tribal sentiments, and religious creed.’

It is noteworthy that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently in India where he is attending the G-20 Summit and seeking support for Nigeria.
