Claret Opara Bassey, a Nigerian Lawyer died while pursuing her husband on the 18th of September in Calabar. The death of Claret is borne out of the realization of her hearing that her husband was hanging out with a lady in a shopping mall.
According to the latest reports by The Nations Newspaper, Claret figured out that her husband was with a strange woman after getting a call from a friend. After getting this heart-wrenching information, she stormed out of the house in the quest of confronting her husband.
Unfortunately, the beautiful lawyer lost her life in the process after losing control of the car she was driving. She rammed into a tree that damaged the car beyond repair and left the lawyer in her own pool of blood. According to the reports, Claret’s husband, Mr. Sunday Bassey was the one who took her to the hospital. It was disclosed that he was remorseful about the accident and that he pleaded with her not to die. Sadly, she lost her life in the process.
On this basis however, some reactions emerged from some quarters blaming the lawyer lady for her action while others felt so bad on her unfortunate situation.
