Veteran actress Rachel Oniga has been laid to rest at a private ceremony conducted by Omega Funeral Homes in Lagos.
In a low-key funeral ceremony attended by family members and a few of her associates, the late the veteran Nollywood Actress described by many as loving, caring and hard-working woman.
The Scoper Media could recall that Oniga died in July 30th after battling a heart-related disease as confirmed by her family.
A Burial arrangements commenced on August 23rd, followed by a symposium organized by a coalition of Non-Governmental Organisations and her colleagues in the movie Industry.
The Scoper Media also gathered that a service of songs was held on August 26th, at the Catholic Church of Resurrection, Magodo in Lagos, Nigeria. The Lying-in-state started at 9:30 am on Friday after which she was buried.

In their separate tributes, Oniga’s son, Olatunji described his mother as a loving, caring and fantastic mum who always had time for anyone and everyone.
